The IFG Student Code of Conduct sets out the standards of behaviour and academic integrity expected of all students. It exists to help create a safe, inclusive and respectful learning environment where everyone can study, work and thrive. By joining IFG, you become part of a shared community and are expected to contribute positively to the wellbeing, safety and success of others as well as your own.
The Code explains what IFG considers to be appropriate and unacceptable behaviour, both on campus and in online or off-site settings where your actions may affect other students, staff or the wider IFG community. It covers expectations around attendance, academic integrity, respectful behaviour, health and safety, and lawful conduct, while also recognising your right to freedom of expression within the boundaries of the law and institutional policy.
This Code also explains what may happen if standards are not met. Breaches may result in action under IFG’s academic or non-academic misconduct procedures, which are designed to be fair, proportionate and transparent. The aim of the Code is not only to set boundaries, but to support you in understanding how your behaviour contributes to a positive, supportive and professional learning environment for all.
