Our Foundation Programme in Business Management is specifically designed for international students who have completed high school and wish to progress to business related undergraduate courses in English speaking countries.
Successful completion offers a pathway to an extensive range of career-enhancing undergraduate programmes at leading universities in the UK and Australia.
You will develop the language, learning and communication skills required for undergraduate study as well as completing a project and studying the following key academic subjects:
Business Studies
An introduction to how different types of businesses operate in a global environment and respond to external factors. You will also learn different business theories and how to apply practical solutions in the real world.
Accounting
An understanding of the basic concepts of financial and managerial accounting is a valuable way of understanding how businesses work. You will use case studies to learn how to apply accounting principles to everyday business situations.
Economics
An introduction to key economic concepts, theories and institutions. You will explore current national and international economic issues, the problems they create and the effect on our everyday life.
