Through small group workshops and one-to-one assistance, our programme will help you to produce a proposal suitable for applications to DBA courses in the UK and elsewhere. It will help you to choose a suitable topic which is of interest to you and will be of value to your organisation, investigate previous research in your chosen area, identify specific research questions and consider appropriate research methods.
The course will also help you with all other aspects of the application process, develop a relevant and attractive CV and prepare you for the interview which universities will conduct prior to offering you a place.
Tutors on the course have vast experience in academic business research and you will have access to a wide range of online resources covering all aspects of the programme.
By the end of the course, students will:
- Have developed their understanding of different aspects of research methods;
- have developed language and communication skills in an academic context;
- have developed a range of skills to successfully apply for DBA study at universities in different countries;
- have completed an appropriate and viable research proposal;
- be able to defend the proposal at an interview.
