MICHAEL ADDISON MA

Michael was one of the founders of IFG as a brand of Education Pathways Group Limited. He has degrees from Bristol and Sussex universities and many years experience developing and running independent colleges in London, work which he has combined with teaching of History and Political Science and participation in many international business conferences. He also acts as a consultant in the field of international education.

At IFG he oversees course development and review as well as all aspects of teaching and learning in London and other IFG centres. He has a wide knowledge of higher education in the UK and ensures that all our students gain individual help in choosing and applying to courses and universities.

DR. BRUCE DUNCAN

Bruce is an Emeritus Professor and has vast experience as a teacher and lecturer in English and business related topics. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants and also of the International Association of Teachers of English as a. Foreign Language.

His recent appointments include Director of Studies at Albion College in London and lecturer at the French university, INSEEC. In addition to his full time posts, he also participates in management seminars throughout the world. Over. The last couple of years, he has lectured in London, Lausanne, Dubai, Abuja, Accra, and Belize and is also a prolific writer of academic papers.

His dynamic style of teaching and depth of knowledge make him a vital member of the IFG team.

DR. BRUCE DUNCAN

Course leader of Pre-Masters Programmes

Stephen previously held senior business development posts at a Top 50 UK University as College Internationalisation Development Director, and a Senior Lecturer in Executive Education. He was the programme leader for the Certificate in Leisure Leadership and the MBA Global program.

He is an experienced business driver and generator with a demonstrated history of success in Finance, Property Development, Hospitality and most recently in the Higher Education Sector with an excellent track record of identifying and delivering new international student recruitment opportunities.

Stephen joined IFG in 2022 with the sole purpose of developing, launching, and managing IFG’s Professional programmes, starting with the IFG/FI ACCA offer.

Stephen completed his BA (Hons) in Classics from the Open University and his MA Classics with Distinction from the same institution. Currently pursuing PhD to explore the impact a global sustainability agenda will have on the luxury brands market with the University of Vitez and Circle International.

STEPHEN SMITH

Stefan Green

Stefan has over 20 years’ international education experience, primarily in pre-university pathways, TNE and EFL product & partnership development management. His career highlights include negotiating level 3 progression agreements with UK universities, managing international student recruitment & admissions teams, the set-up of a teacher training centre in China and the management of a new pre-university pathway department for a leading language school chain. His career has involved extensive overseas travel and attendance of industry events/workshops. In addition he lived and worked in Japan for 5 years, starting as an EFL teacher before moving into school management.

We are delighted that he is now part of the IFG team in charge of maintaining and expanding our academic partnerships.

STEFAN GREEN

Director of Marketing and Partnerships

Tatiana has a Master’s degree in International Relations and vast experience in teaching and academic management. She has taught courses such as English, Academic Research and Writing, Study and Communication skills, Effective Interview workshops and many others. She has also managed several schools and colleges worldwide and worked with students and teachers from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Tatiana focuses on student support and empowerment to ensure each of the students achieves their targets. Since joining International Foundation Group (IFG) she has been effectively organising and improving study processes at IFG Abu Dhabi – such as academic planning and course development, admissions procedures and mentorship programmes, as well as implementing recent technology into the education processes and promotion of life-long learning.

Charles graduated with a masters degree from Edinburgh University and then studied his MPhil at Oxford University. In a varied career, he has taught Communications and Politics at colleges and universities in the UK as well as working for the BBC as a script developer. His innovative style of teaching and his understanding of the demands of international students make him a crucial member of the IFG team.

Michael Parris - Teacher of Business

Michael is a qualified teacher of Business and Economics at GCSE, A, Level and Foundation. His enthusiastic, friendly and committed style of teaching has resulted in an outstanding record of success in helping students to achieve high grades and progress to high ranking universities.

MICHAEL PARRIS BA, PGCE

Teacher of Business

Siavash gained his bachelor of Science in Construction Management from the University of Westminster and developed his analytical and problem-solving skills over there, which are crucial for engineering education. Subsequently, he has also pursued a Ph.D. in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering at the University of West London, contributing to innovative research that was published in renowned journals. During his time at the University of West London, he also served as a Lecturer in Mathematics.

He has a great interest in the field of Data Science, so much so, that he has completed a Data Science and Machine Learning program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to further his knowledge for this rich and diverse field.

Siavash teaches Computer Science and Further Maths at IFG and his style of teaching engages his students while catering to a diverse range of learning preferences. Siavash is also great at managing virtual learning environments.

Denise - Teacher of Law

Denise took her LLB at City University and her LLM in Human Rights at Birkbeck College, University of London. She then qualified as a teacher by taking a Post Graduate Certificate in Education at UCL, Institute of Education. As well as teaching at Foundation level, she also tutors law undergraduates at Birkbeck College.

During her years as a law student, she found most of her lectures and seminars lacked interactivity, creativity and sufficient use of practical examples. In her own teaching, she succeeds in bringing the subject to life, helping her students “fall in love with the subject through the use of practical examples, interactive activities, engaging debate and encouragement”.

The results are self-evident with her students at IFG securing offers from many leading law schools including Reading, Royal Holloway, East Anglia and Swansea.

DENISE TYSON-MENSAH LLM

Shadrach Lornem - Teacher of Business and Study Skills

Shadrach is a certified management consultant. He specializes in organizational development and learning for professional people and their organizations. For over seven years, he has provided guidance and advice in all aspects of organization development, from strategy formulation to change management in order to help organizations get the best from their employees.

At IFG, Shadrach teaches individuals and small groups of students, the requisite skills required for university studies such as ensuring consistency in referencing, citing credible sources, paraphrasing and tips on what examiners look out for in a student’s dissertation.

Shadrach completed his PhD at Cardiff Metropolitan University and is ideally placed to pass on his experience of the journey towards successful completion of doctoral studies. His research interest focuses on human resources, organisational behaviour and management studies.

MILENA ARAYA

Milena achieved a first class degree in her Bachelor of Education and progressed to King’s College, University of London where she completed her masters in English Language Teaching and Applied Linguistics.

She is a highly experienced teacher having taught Academic, Specific Purposes and General English to a wide range of students as well as in different countries. In addition to her teaching, Milena is heavily involved in course design, having participated in the design of an undergraduate degree course in Ecotourism. She has also just completed the course design of IFG’s preparation course for the Occupational English Language test.

Milena is an inspiring and extremely successful teacher who contributes vastly to academic life at IFG.

David has had a fascinating and varied career, teaching at a wide range of schools and colleges in the UK as well as in community projects in Hungary.

He has degrees from University College, London and from Royal Holloway, as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the Institute of Education, London (now part of UCL).

Over the years, he has been consistently successful in helping students to achieve their potential. He has a passion for Economics ensuring that what could be quite a dry subject is brought to life by relating his teaching to real life and topical issues.

BHAVNA BHANUSHALI

Bhavna is an experienced and successful teacher at pre-university, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her first degree was in Finance and she has taught a wide range of related topics in the fields of mathematics and accounting.

She is a patient and extremely effective teacher who understands well that, for many students, Maths can be a subject to fear rather than enjoy. Her results in helping to raise student confidence speak for themselves.

BHAVNA BHANUSHALI

Dr Tuncel Tack

After completing her PhD from the University of London, Tuncel worked for a time as a researcher at the University of Exeter. She then worked as a researcher in industry in the field of polymer and fuel additive technology, contributing to numerous scientific publications.

She also has many years of teaching experience, notably at d’Overbroecks Independent School in Oxford where she was a Senior Teacher of Chemistry.

She is an A level examiner.

DR. TUNCEL TACK

Dr. Chris Skilbeck - Lecturer of Life Sciences & Mathematics

Chris studied for his PhD at the University of Birmingham having previously gained  First Class Honours at the same university. He has vast experience as a teacher and researcher in the field of Biomedical Science and has published numerous peer reviewed articles.

Chris’s other passions are computer programming and mathematics and he has a degree in Applied Maths, Physics and Computer Science. He is a highly experienced 2D and 3D graphics programmer. He is also a keen botanist and zoologist and combines his teaching at IFG with research at the Natural History Museum.

To the rest of us at IFG with rather less brain cells, Chris is just a caring and outstanding teacher and an invaluable member of the team.

DR. CHRIS SKILBECK

Manoharan Dilukshan - Teacher of Accounting and Finance

Dilukshan started his career with KPMG and specialised in Assurance and financial Risk Management. He has experience in industries such as Retail, Telecommunication, Technology, Education and Hospitality. He specialised in Financial Reporting, Management Accounting and Tax planning.

He has an MSc in International Financial Management from University of Surrey and over ten years experience of teaching Accounting. He is also a corporate trainer for many prominent organisations and is a member of the Institute of Consulting and Chartered Management.

Currently he combines his teaching with running his own consulting company which is recognised by the Institute of Consulting.

Anthony Momoh

Anthony is a highly effective and knowledgeable member of our marketing team. After gaining his MBA from Coventry University, he worked for a while in the university’s international office and then progressed to a position with one of the leading recruitment agencies in Nigeria, PfL. Prior to joining IFG, Anthony worked as a regional director for Cambridge Education Group and then for Navitas.

He has an ethical and enthusiastic approach and has an outstanding reputation amongst agents in West Africa. He has become a key member of IFG’s marketing team.

ANTHONY MOMOH

Irini graduated from the University of Nottingham and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants for England and Wales. She has many years of teaching experience and has also worked for KPMG in the corporate finance and consumer goods and retail sectors. She combines her teaching role at IFG with course development in our business and finance-related modules.

Outside of her work she is a keen runner, having completed the hilliest double marathon in the UK. Amazingly, she still finds time for her music playing three instruments to Grade 5 level

Yusri - Head of International Projects in MENA

Yusri has many years experience in teaching and education management with a Masters from University College, London in Education Leadership. He is responsible for developing and coordinating IFG’s collaborative projects.

He plays a key role in our internationalization strategy, leading and progressing new partnerships which contribute to IFG’s ambitious objectives in relation to partnerships and student mobility in the Middle East and North Africa.

IFG strategy is focused on building further international branch campuses and Yusri contributes to this by developing effective strategic partnerships in the region. He has very rich experience of policy and stakeholder engagement, as well as an outstanding knowledge of global education, especially in the context of the MENA.

Edita completed her first degree in Vilnius, Lithuania before coming to the UK to study for her masters in Social Anthropology at Goldsmiths, University of London. She also has qualifications in Nutritional Therapy, Customer Care and Computing.

She is a talented linguist being fluent in English, Spanish, Russian, Lithuanian and Polish, as well as a smattering of German, Hebrew and Greek. Before coming to the UK, she taught English at a secondary school in Vilnius.

Edita is a highly experienced administrator and works closely with the Directors in all areas of our College activities.

In an extraordinarily varied and exciting career, John has acquired the experience and expertise which serves IFG well in his role as Business Development Director. Prior to graduating with a degree in English Literature, John pursued an acting career featuring in a wide variety of films and TV shows.

After that, he remained in the media world as an Executive Producer for European Business Television focusing on the production of films about CEO’s of prominent international companies which were aired on Sky and CNBC.

It is important that all members of a college know what it is like to teach, and John has forged a reputation with his highly motivational style of teaching Academic and Business English for over ten years. He is therefore an ideal person to continue the international development of IFG.

Anwar is an experienced and highly successful teacher of management and leadership topics having taught at a number of different universities and colleges including Coventry University, London and BPP University.

After completing his first degree with first-class honours, he gained a distinction at MBA level and also has a Diploma in Education and Training. Over the last few years, he has completed training in research mentoring as well as in business sustainability management at the University of Cambridge.

Anwar’s professional memberships include the Chartered Management Institute, the Institute of Consulting and the British Academy of Management.

Anwar Hossain

Marco is an outstanding communicator with an infectious passion for his subject. He studied for his bachelor and masters in Milan, before completing his PhD at Imperial College, London. Marco also has a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, and has many years of experience teaching at A level and foundation.

In addition to his teaching, Marco has also written academic papers and taken part in numerous scientific workshops. He is well travelled having worked in Vietnam, Italy, Canada and Australia. Students consistently feed back to us commenting on the high level of support which they have received from Marco, and how he makes complex topics clear and easy to understand.

Dr. Marco Castiello

Fatmah has vast managerial experience at UK universities including Loughborough, Westminster and East London, helping to run postgraduate courses in Diplomacy. Prior to this, she also worked for the Moroccan Embassy in London.

She has developed a global network of academics and graduates, and makes an invaluable contribution to IFG’s expansion

Fatmah Lallmahamood

Maria holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature. In 2011 she finished taught courses at the Master Linguistic Studies at Tishreen University, Latakia, Syria with a rating of Very Good. She is a native speaker of Arabic and Russian and speaks English fluently. Before moving to Abu Dhabi, Maria had been an English language teacher for more than 13 years and taught in Syria and Russia.

Maria is also a certified Arabic-English translator by the Ministry of Justice, Syria, and has been a freelance translator for the last 16 years. At IFG she is responsible for the day-to-day handling of emails, requests and queries. Additionally, she helps students with their UCAS and other university applications as well as arranging student accommodation, preparing social media posts and proofreading & developing marketing material.

Maria Mohammad

Francisco studied for his first law degree at the University of Pavia, one of the oldest universities in the world. He then achieved a distinction in a masters in Corporate Law from Queen Mary’s, University of London. He has also contributed papers to academic journals on financial regulation, and worked as a research assistant at the University of Warwick  He has held a number of teaching posts at UK universities including City University and Queen Mary’s. He also worked in the legal profession in Rome and Milan in the field of financial regulation.

Francisco José Ciancetta

Teacher of Law

Caitlin graduated with a first-class degree in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Liverpool. She has excellent experience as a teacher, and her other activities include the publishing of a paper on the regioselectivity of Nickel-catalysed insertion of alkynes into 3-oxetanone. She has also presented to professionals within the pharmaceutical industry on GCP (Good Clinical Practice).

Amongst her other non-teaching activities, Caitlin has worked in partnership with industry and as part of a clinical trial to develop a medical device as a point-of-care test of immune function, which could allow patients to be stratified according to risk of post-operative complications.
