IFG Personal Tutor Policy and Guidance - International Foundation Group (IFG)
Loading...

Personal tutoring is a key part of IFG’s approach to supporting student success, wellbeing and progression. Every student is assigned a Personal Tutor who acts as a consistent point of contact throughout your studies, offering guidance on academic progress, personal development and future plans. The personal tutoring system is designed to help you feel supported, informed and confident as you navigate your course.

Your Personal Tutor will meet with you regularly and provide a safe, welcoming space to discuss your studies, set goals, reflect on feedback, and raise any concerns that may be affecting your learning or wellbeing. Where additional support is needed, your tutor can help you access specialist services, ensuring that support is provided early and in a coordinated way. Personal tutoring is a partnership, and you are encouraged to engage actively and take responsibility for your development.

This policy explains what you can expect from your Personal Tutor, what is expected of you as a student, and how confidentiality and safeguarding are managed.
