IFG Policy on Sexual Misconduct, Harassment & Unacceptable Behaviours - International Foundation Group (IFG)
Loading...

IFG is committed to providing a learning environment where all students can study, live and participate in IFG activities safely, with dignity and respect. Sexual misconduct, harassment and other unacceptable behaviours can cause harm, undermine wellbeing, and affect students’ ability to engage fully with their education. This policy sets out the standards of behaviour we expect, and how IFG will prevent, respond to, and address these behaviours.

If you experience or witness sexual misconduct, harassment, or other unacceptable behaviour (including online), you can report it and access support. IFG will respond using a trauma-informed approach, focusing on your immediate wellbeing, offering practical and emotional support, and taking steps to help you feel safe. Where appropriate, IFG will look into what happened and decide next steps in a way that is fair, transparent, and proportionate, while recognising that IFG’s internal processes are not the same as a criminal investigation.

This policy explains how disclosures and reports are handled (including what happens at the initial support stage), what precautionary measures may be used to protect students, and how IFG balances confidentiality, data protection, and the need for fair process for everyone involved.
